Lifetime Hardware Warranty
We warrant our mechanical and structural hardware parts against manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship for the lifetime of the product.
What is Covered:
- Structural failures (cracked frames, snapped metal modules, or failed structural joints).
- Machining and processing defects (out-of-spec tolerances, binding sliders, or sliding track misalignments).
- Assembly craftsmanship flaws (fasteners, steel pivots, pins, and mechanical locking mechanisms).
1-Year Electronics Coverage
For gear integrated with electronic features (such as smart trackers or active transmitters), we stand behind our circuits with dedicated coverage.
What is Covered:
- Bluetooth tracking modules, BLE transmitters, and embedded power circuit boards.
- Structural electronic enclosures, connectors, and custom charging terminals.
- Coverage spans exactly **1 year** from the original shipment delivery date.
Excluded From Coverage
Our warranty protects your gear against structural failures, not daily adventure. Read our explicit coverage exemptions before submitting a claim.
Cosmetic Wear & Tear
We believe **scars are stories, not defects**. Scuffs, scratches, anodization wear, raw brass/copper patina, and finish wear are expected characteristics of premium metal gear and are not covered.
Misuse & Abuse
Damage resulting from using your wallet/accessories as a pry bar or hammer, applying extreme structural torque, running it over with a vehicle, or dropping electronics in water is excluded.
Modifications & Engravings
Personalized customizations (such as customizer laser etching, engravings, or custom anodizing) are not covered. Drilling custom holes, altering frames with chemical washes, or forcing compatibility with third-party components immediately voids structural coverage.
Consumable Elements
Consumable components designed to wear down or be replaced, including batteries, screws, hex tools, replacement elastic bands, and lost items are not covered.
The Modular Resolution
Because HayKul gear is engineered with a modular chassis system, we do not throw away a complete assembly if a single component fails. If your warranty claim is approved, **we will ship you the specific replacement module** (e.g. a titanium pocket clip, solid brass plate, or steel lockbar) rather than replacing the entire product. This minimizes material waste, reduces deployment downtime, and preserves the personalized scars on the rest of your EDC setup.
